This project has 20 operating rooms on two levels for general surgery, cardiovascular surgery and catheterization. Surgery suites feature clean cores served by automated cart elevators. Sky bridges and elevators connect directly to Patient Care Units. An intermediate level provides for building services, waiting, induction and staff facilities. The Center features beautifully appointed patient care and family areas.
The Surgical Care and Vascular Center was a planned vertical expansion of MultiCare's "L" Wing, which also houses the Central Laboratory, Outpatient Center and Campus General Services. The project included a shelled-in top floor which has subsequently been built-out for Cardiovascular Patient Beds.
