This clinic was designed to accommodate outpatient laser refractive surgery and associated pre/post op, consultation and administrative activities. The plan features a gallery entrance with sculptural glass panels, freeform reception desk and ceiling, and semi-circular waiting area. Clinical areas are arranged around a loop corridor with business functions sequestered yet easily accessible.
The project received Citation and People's Choice awards from the Portland Chapters of the AIA and ASID.
