To improve efficiency, bed utilization and patient care, Providence Hood River's ICU was relocated into its newer patient wing. The unit features two dedicated ICU beds and two "swing" beds that can be occupied by patients with lower acuity. Much needed staff lounge and visitor waiting area were also created.
GBJ designed Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital's 42,000 sq. ft. North Wing and subsequent 18,000 sq. ft. West Wing Addition, as well as remodels of several diagnostic and treatment spaces.
