Occupying two floors of a multi-level expansion, this project triples MultiCare's Emergency and Urgent Care facilities. The unique layout combines adult and pediatric emergency care, maintaining appropriate separation of the two populations while affording flexibility and shared support. A vertical circulation core provides a direct link to Surgery and patient beds.

This work is part of a 190,000 sq. ft. expansion project which includes Emergency and Urgent Care on Levels Two and Three, and cancer care and treatment on Levels One and Four. The structure allows for future floors, and is designed to withstand a severe earthquake and remain operational.
